Turkey-backed Syrian rebels advance towards Afrin

Syrian rebels backed by Turkey say they have taken more positions from Kurdish fighters around the city of Afrin.

    Kurdish YPG fighters who are backed by the US are getting support from the Syrian government. But Syrian militias coming to support the YPG had to retreat after Turkish artillery prevented their advance.
