Lebanon: Israel border wall 'threatens security'

Lebanon and Israel have a border dispute as well as a dispute over ownership of an offshore gas field.

    Israel has begun building a wall along its border with Lebanon.

    Beirut says the $28m wall will destabilise security in the already volatile region.

    Lebanese leaders also say that despite Israeli threats, they are pressing ahead with offshore gas and oil exploration.

     

    Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Naqoura in southern Lebanon.
