India has celebrated its Republic Day with a parade in the capital New Delhi.

    India has celebrated its Republic Day with a parade in the capital New Delhi.

    It marks the day the constitution was adopted and India was declared a sovereign state.

    Guests of honour included 10 heads of state and governments from Southeast Asian countries.
