Zimbabwe announces budget amid hopes of economic revival

Zimbabwe’s first budget under new President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been announced in Parliament.

The new government has pledged to re-engage with international lenders, curb spending and attract investors.

The aim is to revive an economy battered by years of corruption under former President Robert Mugabe’s rule.
