US to provide weapons support to Ukraine

The US says it will give Ukraine what it calls 'enhanced defensive capabilities'.

    US media are reporting the new arms include anti-tank missiles, but the state department has not confirmed lethal weapons will be sent.

    Washington has been providing Ukraine with support equipment and training in its battle against pro-Russia separatists.
