    The United Nations has called on Australia and Papua New Guinea to show restraint as a deadline to clear the Manus Island refugee detention centre approaches.

    Papua New Guinea has said it will forcibly remove and arrest anyone who is still there on Saturday.

    The power and water have been turned off but hundreds of men remain barricaded inside.

    Al Jazeera's Mereana Hond reports.
