A new religious museum opens in Washington DC on Saturday.

The people behind the Museum of the Bible say the aim is to encourage those of all faiths and beliefs to engage with one of the key books of civilisation.

However, there is evidence that the Museum focuses, in the main, on a single narrative - a point attributed to other US museums influenced by specific ideas, individuals or organisations.

Al Jazeera's Shihab Rattansi reports from Washington.
