US College basketball: Coaches charged with bribery

A corruption scandal is hanging over college basketball in the US. At least eight people, including coaches and sportswear executives, have been charged as part of a major bribery investigation.

    A corruption scandal is hanging over college basketball in the US.

    At least eight people, including coaches and sportswear executives, have been charged as part of a major bribery investigation.

    The investigation is looking into kickbacks allegedly paid by shoe companies to coaches and universities, which are funnelled towards locking in top recruits.

    Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from New York.
