US President Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has handed himself over to the FBI.

Manafort and his former business associate Rick Gates, have been indicted on a dozen charges by a federal grand jury, including charges of conspiring against the United States and conspiracy to launder money. On Twitter, Trump reacted to the news of the arrests arguing the charges emanate from actions taken before Manafort chaired his presidential bid, again stating there was no collusion between his campaign and Russia.
