Rex Tillerson to discuss US-Pakistan relations in Islamabad

    US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is on his first official visit to South Asia.

    Tillerson's next stop is Pakistan, where fighting the Taliban and US requests for "counterterrorism" support are expected to dominate talks with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Pakistan's new prime minister - recently elected in August.

    Then on to India, where the Trump administration hopes to expand ties, to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
