Nigeria is taking a cautious approach to its Independence Day celebrations in the northeastern Borno state this year, amid fears of attacks by the armed group Boko Haram.

    Nigeria is taking a cautious approach to its Independence Day celebrations in the northeastern Borno state this year, amid fears of attacks by the armed group Boko Haram.

    There has recently been an increase in the number of attacks on civilians and security personnel.
