Iraq's Kurdish region voted in favour of secession.

The tribal leaders turned to Kurdish President Masoud Barzani for help and now they fully back the referendum for secession.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has rejected the referendum and is threatening to retake control.

But increasing numbers of Sunnis are calling for further separation.

Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from Rabia, in northern Iraq.
