Italy’s high-end fashion brands help restore Roman monuments

Some of the biggest names in Italian fashion are helping to restore ancient Roman monuments to their former glory. The government is turning to private businesses to help pay for the huge cost of renovating sites such as the Colosseum.

Now, after four years, new areas of the building have been opened to the public.
