Six finalists are vying for the UK's most prestigious architecture award. Every year, the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) Stirling Prize recognises the building that has made the greatest contribution to the evolution of the craft.

    A photography studio, a pier, and a low-cost housing development are among the shortlisted buildings.
