China's president consolidates power with 'Xi Jinping Thought'

China's president will have his own political theory incorporated into the guidelines for the ruling Communist party.

    China's president will have his own political theory incorporated into the guidelines for the ruling Communist party.

    State media is reporting the so-called Xi Jinping Thought will have 14 principles, but it is not yet known what they are.

    Xi's Thoughts are expected to further consolidate his power and putting him on a par with the founder of the Communist party, Mao Zedong.
