    US President Donald Trump says Puerto Rico is in "deep trouble" after being hit by Hurricane Maria.

    He tweeted that the US territory's billion-dollar debt to Wall Street and banks must be dealt with.

    The governor of Puerto Rico has called on Washington to urgently address the needs of the US territory as it attempts to deal with what he called an "unprecedented disaster".
