Iraq's Kurdish leader, Masoud Barzani has promised Monday's independence referendum will definitely go ahead, despite international pressure to stop it.

    Iraq's Kurdish leader, Masoud Barzani has promised Monday's independence referendum will definitely go ahead, despite international pressure to stop it.

    He says whatever the outcome, the Kurds will continue to fight alongside Iraqi forces against ISIL.

    Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel-Hamid reports from northern Iraq.
