Army says soldier wounded after Palestinian allegedly tried to ram his car into troops on patrol in occupied West Bank.
Four Palestinians, who allegedly attempted to stab Israeli soldiers in two separate incidents in occupied West Bank, have been shot and killed.
The Palestinian health ministry said three Palestinians died north of Hebron close to the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion after reports of a stabbing attempt on Thursday night.
“Three attackers, armed with knives, attempted to stab soldiers guarding the Gush Etzion junction,” an Israeli army statement said, adding troops responded by shooting the assailants.
The fourth Palestinian killed north of Hebron was 16-year-old Khalil Mohammad Shalaldeh.
No Israelis were wounded in the alleged attacks.
With the latest incidents, the Palestinian death toll since the beginning of the latest unrest late last year increased to 149.
At least 20 Israelis have also died in the near-daily violence.
