Hong Kong grinds to a halt as the strongest typhoon since 1983 hits the region.
Dramatic footage has emerged of flash flooding which struck China’s Shaanxi province on Friday.
The images were taken in Yulin City, in the north of the province, after a storm dropped over 58 millimetres of rain in only three hours.
Cars and motorcycles were swept down the streets, as residents looked on in horror.
More heavy thunderstorms are expected across the region on Monday, before turning lighter on Tuesday.
