Portable sink promoting hygiene among Cambodia children

Experts design colourful plastic sink to aid hygiene in country where lack of sanitation kills thousands every year.

Lack of sanitation in Cambodia kills thousands of people every year, mostly children under the age of five.

Now experts have designed a new, colourful plastic sink to help children learn the importance of hygiene.

The organisation behind ‘Labobo’ designed it with suggestions from families in neighbouring Vietnam – where at least 10,000 have been sold in a year.
