Drug smuggling: Booming business on Bangladesh border

Border guards seize millions of pills each year as people in Dhaka struggle with a growing meth addiction.

Bangladesh border guards are grappling with one of the most crowded drug trafficking zones in the world.

Yet their efforts to stem the stream of methamphetamine into the country may not be enough. Millions of pills are seized each year – but police think that’s only about 10 percent of what’s being smuggled.
