Out-of-control spacecraft burns up on re-entry
Soviet-designed spacecraft fails to reach its proper orbit en route to the International Space Station.

After failing to reach its proper orbit, an out-of-control Russian spacecraft has burned up on re-entry over the Pacific Ocean.
The spacecraft’s progress was being closely monitored as some small pieces were expected to land somewhere on the Earth’s surface.
