Remote Nepal village still awaits aid week after quake

Al Jazeera team manages to reach mountainous village of Thade, cut off by landslides, that is in need of urgent help.

One of Al Jazeera’s teams has managed to reach the mountainous part of a district in northern Nepal, which has some of the most urgent needs after last week’s earthquake that devastated much of the country and left thousands dead.

A crucial road in the Rasuwa district that leads to Dhunche has been blocked since last Saturday because of landslides.

Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons is one of the first to get through the road blockages and reports from the village of Thade.
