Pakistan deploys new missile-firing drone

Government says drones necessary to fight Pakistani Taliban, but some residents are fearful of more drones in the sky.

The United States has been using drones extensively in Pakistan for the last 10 years.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London has found that CIA drones have killed between 2,500 and 4,000 people in Pakistan.

Now Pakistan has developed its own missile-firing drone, which it has also been deploying within its own country on the border with Afghanistan.

It says it is to combat the Pakistani Taliban, but some residents fear that more drones in the sky will only contribute to the lack of peace in their country.
