Afghan women demand greater say in politics
Despite coming a long way from the inequity under the Taliban, discrimination against women remains widespread.

Despite significant gains in the 14 years since the fall of the Taliban, discrimination against women remains widespread in Afghanistan.
To improve their situation, women are calling on the governent to ensure they have a place in politics. One suggested measure is that 25 percent of council seats be reserved for women in the next elections.
Al Jazeera’s Jennifer Glasse reports from Kabul.
