Peace deal signed

Ahead of Saturday’s vote, President Goodluck Jonathan addressed the nation, saying he cherished Nigeria’s democracy and asking people to cast their votes peacefully.

 

Opposition leader Muhammadu Buhari called on Nigerians to come out en-masse and vote to remove what he called the “incompetent government” from office.
