Palestinian couple kept apart on Valentine’s Day
Israeli occupation prevents loved ones from Palestinian territories of West Bank and Gaza from visiting each other.

As millions of couples around the world celebrate Valentine’s Day together, one Palestinian couple can not.
Despite being engaged, Israel willl not allow Dalia Shurrab to travel from her home in the Gaza Strip to the Occupied West bank where her fiance lives.
Israeli human rights groups have described the policy of refusing permission for Palestinians to travel between the two territories as “unbearable”.
Al Jazeera’s Imtiaz Tyab reports from Nablus in West Bank.
