Anger in Kashmir after lynching over beef

Clashes erupt after Hindu mob kills driver of truck carrying poisoned cows police say were mistaken for slaughtered.

Indian-administered Kashmir is tense following the death of a truck driver, who was wrongly accused by a Hindu mob of transporting slaughtered cows – considered sacred by many Hindus.

This is the latest death in a string of attacks on people accused of trading or consuming beef in India.

Al Jazeera’s Nidhi Dutt reports from India’s capital, New Delhi.
