West Bank roads bear signs of occupation

Arabic road signs are not allowed in some Israeli-controlled villages, causing confusion among Palestinian drivers.

Driving around the occupied West Bank can get confusing for Palestinians.
The Palestinian Authority is not allowed to put up road signs in Arabic for most of the region.
In the 60 percent of the area under full Israeli control, the original Arabic names of villages cannot even be referred to.

Al Jazeera’s Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from the West Bank.
