The tough battle to rebuild Kobane

Residents find Syrian city in ruins after Kurdish forces succeed in pushing out ISIL.

People from Kobane who fled the fighting there have started to return to their homes.

Four months of fighting have devastated the town and its infrastructure.

Kurdish forces have succeeded in pushing the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group out of the Syrian city, but the battle to rebuild the city is only beginning.
