Resurgent Yemeni rebels mark religious event
For the first time ever Houthis feel free to decorate streets of capital to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

The streets of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, have hundreds of posters and signs celebrating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, put up by Houthi rebels who now control the city.
This level of public celebration by the Houthis is a rare sight and the posters affixed to the walls of the capital reflect a new reality in Yemen.
In a politically divided country, it is more than just a religious event.
Al Jazeera’s Omar Al Saleh reports from Sanaa.
