Auschwitz survivors mark 70th anniversary of liberation

Ceremony for Holocaust prisoners freed from Nazi Germany’s concentration camps in Poland is attended by world leaders.

Holocaust survivors are marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

The French, German and Austrian presidents are among the world leaders who travelled to take part in the event in Auschwitz, Poland, which had hosted some of Nazi Germany’s worst wartime atrocities.
