Kurdish fighters have reportedly cut-off a major supply line for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in northwestern Iraq.

The Kurdish Peshmerga say they have seized an area near the Mosul Dam used by ISIL to move supplies from its strongholds in Syria to territory it holds in Iraq.
