President Barack Obama has called for the US trade embargo on Cuba to be lifted in his State of the Union address. The most senior US delegation is to travel to Cuba since 1961, when John F Kennedy was in the White House. The talks are expected to focus on future trade deals and making travel to and from Cuba easier.
As Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo reports from Havana, hopes are high for real change.
