Taekwondo’s popularity taking a hit in South Korea

The country’s national sport is on the decline despite a following of 80 million around the world.

Taekwondo is South Korea’s national sport and has recently secured core Olympic status, guaranteeing its immediate future at the games.

But despite 80 million people around the world practising the sport, it is on the decline at home.
