New addition to Afghan diet offers hope in country where over 40 percent of children under five suffer from condition.

    More than 40 percent of Afghan children under five suffer from malnutrition and almost one fifth of women of reproductive age are underweight. 

    However, a new addition to the Afghan diet might be an answer to the chronic problem.
