Manny Pacquiao: From bread vendor to boxing champion

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao to face Floyd Mayweather in what will be the most lucrative fight in boxing history.

Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will face American Floyd Mayweather on Saturday in what will be the most lucrative fight in boxing history.

The fight is set to generate around $400 million through sponsorships, tickets sales and pay per view sales, and the two fighters are amongst the highest paid sportsmen in the world.

Pacquiao's status as a multi-millionaire is a huge contrast to the circumstances in which he grew up in the Philipinnes.

Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan reports from General Santos City in southern Philippines.
