Forward LeBron James scored 28 points and guard JR Smith made seven three-pointers to finish with 23 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Milwaukee 108-90, handing the Bucks their sixth straight loss.

Elsewhere, the LA Clippers extended their winning streak to four games with a 107-100 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The return after a two-game absence of forward Anthony Davis, who scored a game-high 26 points, could not prevent the Pelicans from slipping three games behind Oklahoma City in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Guard Jeremy Lin came off the bench to score a game-high 29 points and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 101-87.
