Myanmar forests running out of bamboo trees

As bamboo trees are cut down to meet demand, many worry loss of biodiversity will prevent future forests ever growing.

Myanmar is one of the largest exporters of young bamboo shoots, which are a delicacy in neighbouring countries such as China.

But it is feared that high demand may leave the forests bare for future generations.
