Niger prepares for Malaria outbreak

Health workers in Niger are preparing for a possible outbreak of malaria.

The mosquito-borne infection is known to quickly spread among humans and animals in the country during the wet season.

Malaria is the number-one cause of sickness and death in the country, with more than three million registered cases last year.
