Concerns over Australia-Cambodia refugee deal

Many argue that deal by Australia to send asylum seekers to Cambodia damages its own reputation.

Under the agreement, Cambodia will take in an unspecified number of refugees trying to get into Australia, in exchange for $35m.

Many argue that Australia’s deterrent measures toward asylum-seekers comes at the cost of its own reputation.
