UK starts trial on experimental Ebola vaccine

Researchers from US government and a British drugmaker test vaccine on first human volunteer at University of Oxford.

A safety trial of an experimental Ebola vaccine in the United Kingdom has begun,  bringing some hope for a cure as the outbreak continues to spread in Africa.

The first volunteer has been injected with the vaccine at the University of Oxford, after the results of animal testing gave researchers the confidence to test it on humans.
