Syrian refugees in Lebanon under threat

Many Lebanese fear Islamic State fighters, who have captured and beheaded soldiers, are hiding among refugees.

Since the war in Syria began three years ago, over a million Syrian refugees have settled in neighbouring Lebanon.

Their presence has given rise to economic and political tensions in the fragile country.

Things became worse when Islamic Group fighters kidnapped and beheaded several Lebanese troops on the border with Syria.

In response, some Lebanese have retaliated.
