More than two months after Afghanistan’s presidential election, people still do not know who their next leader will be.
Allegations of fraud have prompted a review of the votes.
The political uncertainty has impacted Afghanistan’s fragile economy. There have already been widespread layoffs, as businesses cut back.
The government, which is heavily subsidised by foreign aid, says it could run out of money soon.
