In Thailand, police have discovered what they say is another scandal involving a surrogate mother.
Nine babies have been found in a Bangkok condominium, believed to share the same Japanese father.
The discovery follows accusations by a Thai surrogate that an Australian couple abandoned their baby after discovering the child had Down syndrome.
The scandals have cast light on the largely unregulated business of commercial surrogacy, and pushed the government to take new measures to combat the trade.
