A solar candle business is taking off in South Africa, but new funding could make them affordable for poor households.

The World Bank has promised $5bn for energy projects in sub-Saharan Africa. The decision was announced at the US president’s summit with African leaders this week, where he promised more support for the continent.
As part of Al Jazeera’s Power Switch series, Haru Mutasa reports from Johannesburg on a scheme that could benefit from the extra funding.
