London mayor says UK could leave the EU

Boris Johnson, one of Britain’s most prominent politicians, said European Union must reform or the UK could walk away.

London’s mayor Boris Johnson has spoken out about the possibility of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. His speech coincided with a report that said London’s economy could still grow if the UK opts out.

The mayor’s speech puts further pressure on Prime Minister David Cameron to take a tougher line on EU reform.
