Iraqi forces battle Sunni rebels for Ramadi

The Iraqi army is battling Sunni rebels led by ISIL for control of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province.
More than 700 civilians have been killed in government attacks in the city since January, with many of its predominantly Sunni Muslim residents accusing the Shia-led government of ignoring their rights.
Many politicians hope the new Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, will reach out to Sunni tribes in the area.
