New expanded port receiving cargo vessels passing through the Panama Canal brings hope of trade boom.

Cuba has been cautiously relaxing control of its state-run economy.

One example of this is a newly refurbished and expanded port west of Havana, designed to receive bigger cargo vessels passing through the Panama Canal
