Injured Syrians seek medical help in Jordan

Thousands of Syrian refugees are being treated in neighbouring countries for injuries received in the ongoing civil war.

One in twenty refugees suffers from injuries, with around eighty percent sustained as a direct result of the war.

According to a recent survey, bombings, gunshots, shrapnel and living in homes damaged by the war were the main reasons for the injuries.
